Is it even Sunday if you don’t have a roast? We don’t think so! We have taken the time to explore the depth of Norfolk, UK to discover our favourite places for good Sunday roast as part of the dog walk. These are two things that Norfolk is brilliant at; great walks and even better roasts, making it an ideal holiday destination.
Have a look at our recommendations for dog walks and sunday roasts in Norwich below:
The White Hart in Hingham is a favourite spot of ours and rated 4 out of 5 on Google. A lovely stroll around Hingham and around the surrounding countryside and then end up for a lovely Sunday roast - they even make one for dogs!
Another glorious roast is located at The White Lion on Oak Street, Norwich. Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google and a new find of ours, we absolutely love this pub for their roasts. We have been recommending since, especially when paired with a dog walk along the River.
The Gunton Arms is another top contender to our list, with pre-booking being highly recommended. Located in Thorpe Market, this traditional pub is surrounded by Norfolk’s beautiful landscape and accompanying wildlife. We just absolutely love it. Pop along to Cromer beach for a lovely beach dog walk and on the way home, enjoy a Sunday roast while your dog has a snooze.
Rated 4.5 out of 5, The Belle Vue is undoubtedly a firm favourite and placed in the golden triangle, it’s a wonderful place to have a dog walk and a noisy in the area (just watch out, a lot of cats about!). Not only do they offer Sunday roast, but also homemade pies.
