Glorious Park Walks in Sheffield

Sheffield has some glorious park walks dotting around the city (with most of them hosting a cafe.. yes please!) that can help shape a wholesome Sunday Dog Walk. We have curated a list of parks to visit to get the ball rolling.

Park 1: Endcliffe Park

Wow what a park! This was the first park we visited when arrived in Sheffield for its sheer volume of recommendations, and it's our time to pass the token on. This park is wonderful for its scenery (I mean it has a little waterfall), duck pond and various tracks and developed path circling the area. It is normally full of dogs so ideal if your dog loves a nosey. Plus, it has a lovely cafe on site.

Park 2: Graves Park

This is a pretty big park with a lot of different terrains - open fields, wooded areas and all that in between - for you and your dog to explore. Again, it has a yummy cafe in the park but when we last visited, it was under construction so only takeaway food and drink only.

Graves park also has an animal farm located on site and it's totally FREE! You can see some of the rarest breeds of farm animals in the country, making it perfect for a wholesome Sunday.

Park 3: Meersbrook Park

Naturally not as popular as the bigger parks dotted around Sheffield but don't underestimate the park. With a glorious view of Sheffield's Cityscape and a small herd of dogs running around, it makes the journey worth it (walking included, it's a v steep hill to the top). Not only that, there is a FREE walled garden for you to explore and if you are lucky, the yummy coffee van might be open to get your energy levels going.

Enjoy visiting :-)
