You will love this dog park!

Let's step in and explore the world of enclosed dog parks, welcome... to Wagdale! It's time to excitedly meet Rebecca at Wagdale, the enclosed dog park on the outskirts of Wymondham to introduce what the services they offer.
How long has Wagdale been established for? Where are you based? We opened 17/12/2020 we are based in Barnham Broom What are the signs that your dog may be due for a session? e.g. struggling to release pent up energy, due for some more recall training, simply a monthly treat etc. The amount of exercise your dog needs can vary by breed. For example, I have spaniels, who require daily exercise to stay happy and healthy. If I didn’t have fields at home on the farm, I’d be taking them out to Wagdale every day. It’s also beneficial to mix up their outings, like trips to the beach, to keep things interesting. Signs your dog isn’t getting enough exercise include restlessness, chewing on household items, being overly excited indoors, and other unwanted behaviours—they simply need a good outlet for their energy. Mental stimulation is just as essential as physical exercise. Activities like hunting games in our grassy or wooded areas are fantastic for engaging their minds. Before bringing a new dog into your family, take time to research which breed best suits your lifestyle. It’s worth finding the right match for both you and your future pet! What are the benefits for dogs when they have a session booked in an enclosed dog field?
Bringing your dog to a private field offers a range of benefits, particularly for dogs who thrive in a calm, secure environment. In a private field, your dog can run, play, and explore freely without the distractions and potential stresses of public spaces. This setting is especially valuable for dogs who are reactive, have limited recall skills, or are in training, as it provides a controlled space where they can work on their behaviour and social skills at their own pace. Private fields also offer a safe haven for dogs recovering from illness or injury, as well as a peaceful spot for dog owners who want a relaxed and uninterrupted bonding experience with their pets. With plenty of room to roam and minimal outside influences, a private field can be the perfect place for your dog to exercise, unwind, and simply enjoy being a dog.

Enclosed dog fields have become pretty popular in the last couple of years or so, what do you think the shift has been for dog owners?
With fewer public spaces allowing dogs off-lead, options for safe, open areas are becoming limited. Plus, with busy roads everywhere, many dog owners feel much safer choosing a private dog field rather than risking nearby open spaces —especially for rescue dogs and those who may be reactive. Most customers enjoy the added privacy and security that a private field offers, creating a relaxed environment for both dogs and their owners. If someone would like to book in with you, what's the best way to do so? What are your social media handles? The best way to book is online www.wagdale.co.uk and follow the booking system which is user friendly but any questions give us a call. You can also find us on @welcometowagdale on Instagram and Facebook!
Enjoy!
