Signs your cat loves you more than just a feeder!

Let’s be honest, cats don’t hide the fact they seem to love you more when it’s close to feeding time. However, there are signs that your cat loves more than just a feeder and more like a parent (cue the waterworks🥹):

😺 If your cat sleeps in the same room with you at night, it’s because they feel like they need to guard you whilst you sleep. Cats are naturally light sleepers and they get concerned when we are asleep for hours at a time.

😺 If your cat becomes dependent on you for bedtime.. let us explain! If your cat lingers around and waits for you to come to bed yet you can see they are on the brink of shut eye, it’s most likely that they are waiting for you so you can go to sleep together.

😺 They will come to visit you frequently throughout the day or will follow you in every room you go in (even if you are using the scary hoover or they were getting ready to nap), they just have to be near you.

😺 They get “jealous” of something you using and your attention is off them, think computers, watching telly, etc. They love your full attention and it’s not even feeding time.

A great way to test this out: start to breathe irregularly and as if you are hyperventilating, if they come running, it’s because they know there’s a problem and need to be close!
