Preventation: Feed your dog 12 hours before travel and walk them before the journey. You can also speak to the vets for anti-sickness tablets if your lovely dog really struggles.
On the day: Make sure they are in the pet-safe crate or travel harness (not just because it's illegal if not! but helps them stop sliding around so much), pack them with all their favourite blankets and toys to make them nice and comfortable, and lastly, ensure the car is the right temperature for them! You could even surprise them with a new toy to play with to keep them entertained.
